Mission: Lifesquare aims to become a ubiquitous symbol for and access point to just in time health information for consumers and the medical professionals and family members who care for them.
Lifesquares provide qualified medical personnel immediate access to patients’ essential health information through innovative products and systems.
The company was founded in 2011 by a multi-disciplinary team from Stanford University consisting of Raymond Choi, Peter Livingston, and Jamie Niemasik. The company was originally funded by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers (KPCB) and mentored by Brook Byers and Dana Mead of KPCB.
After a successful pilot in Marin County, the initial product and business model were finalized for general release.
In Mid-2015, the Lifesquare product became available to the general public.
